Information on Application for Secondary 1 (S1) Discretionary Places (2019)

 

Welcome to our admission page and thank you for your interest in applying to our school.

 

F.1 students are admitted through Feeder System, Central Allocation and by application according to the EDB Secondary School Place Allocation (SSPA) System. Starting from 2019, applicant for Secondary 1 (S1) Discretionary Places must attend an interview for admission.

 

A.   Admission Procedures for S1 Discretionary Places

1. Distribution of Application Forms:

Applicants may obtain Application Forms and relevant information by:

                a) coming in person to the school during office hours

    between 24 November, 2018 and 17 January, 2019; or

b) downloading the Application Form from the school website (application form).

    (Please use white A4 paper)

2. To complete the application process, please return the following IN PERSON to the School General Office during office hours 9:00am - 12:30pm and 1:30pm - 4:30pm(Mon-Fri); 

    9:00am - 12:00nn(Sat)  from 3 to 17 January, 2019, both dates inclusive.

     a) the application form for  S1 Discretionary Place issued by the Education Bureau;

b) the completed School Application Form;

c) one stamped ($2.0) self-addressed envelope (4” x 9”);

d) photocopies of the following documents:

  - P.5 to P.6 school report cards (P.5 – both first term and second term; P.6 – only first term).

                - certificate of awards stated in the application form.

 

If you are not issued with the P.6 First Term report card in mid-January, you can submit the copy of the report card in person on or before 28th February, 2019 (by 4:30p.m.).

There is NO NEED to provide recommendation letters of the primary schools and certificates of awards, extra-curricular activities or services which have been shown in the school report cards.

       Monday to Friday: 9:00 am - 4:30 pm 

       Saturday: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm 

       Sunday & public holidays: Closed

        The Results will be released on 9 July, 2019 (Tuesday) through the Education Bureau.
